The official blog of Historical Romance Author Hanna Rhys Barnes.
In service to King Henry II, SIR JAMES DE BARNARD must discover if his mother's new husband is a traitor, but when Jamie rescues a beautiful woman en route, she holds secrets that will change his life forever and could circumvent his mission if he isn't careful. With that thought in mind, he must decide if loving Sela is worth losing his knighthood.
A dangerous plot...
SELA DE CRECY's loyalty belongs to Lady Amye, the woman who rescued her from a brothel. Yet, she finds herself falling in love with Jamie, the lady's son--a sensual and handsome knight who rescues her from danger. When she finds herself embroiled in intrigue and the stakes are life and death, she wonders if she and Jamie will find the traitor before he finds them.
What gorgeous photos, Hanna! I've been to England and Scotland, but never to Wales. My husband has a little bit of Welsh heritage, and we'd love to visit someday. The history and culture are so inspiring, and suddenly it becomes clear how young our own country is, doesn't it? Thank you for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous! This looks like something I would enjoy so much. When we went to Austria, we spent a lot of time in the countryside. It was so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am going to jump on the jealous wagon too. Did you walk across the bridge? It is so beautiful and green.
ReplyDeleteIs that picture of the morning fog? Brings to mind a good old fashioned fox hunt in the morning.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read more...I'm traveling your trip backwards through the posts! LOL
