Okay! After 35 hours of traveling, including a four hour drive to London, a ten hour flight to San Francisco and seven hours of waiting in an airport longue, I am finally home and recovered from jet lag.
At 12:01 am on April 2nd I will select the winner of this cool gift basket. Leave a comment on one of the Welsh related posts and you will be entered to win. Then check back to see if you have a little Celtic luck.

ReplyDeletewhew, you sure the jet lag's gone? Did you have fun? You make me wish I were you
ReplyDeleteWelcome home!
ReplyDeleteI've been there and done that a couple times with the jet lag. Always have more trouble coming home than adjusting over there!
I just discovered your blog so now I'm off to read more about your adventure! :-)
Thanks for sharing! I'm in dire need of some luck right now.
I just wish I had been with you on this great trip. Welcome home
ReplyDeleteYour trip sounded divine, a great itineray. I'm filing it away to use when I go to Wales.

Welcome Home!!
ReplyDeleteI read a bit of your bio. How cool that you practice Wiccan. I have in the past tried my hand at it. I love that you still do.
Sounds like you had a wonderful trip but that sure is a lot of travel time. I enjoyed all the pics and info on Wales!
ReplyDeleteAll the posts were fantastic. I would love to be able to go and see all the different places and learn about them. I know you have to be tired, but I am sure it was so satisfying. I am glad you made it through all the travelling without any problems.

ReplyDeleteWelcome home and I'm so glad you had such a good time in my homeland. I've been catching up with all your posts and pictures.
ReplyDeleteI know the Cardigan area well. Have you heard of 'Barley Saturday'? It's a one day festival where people parade old tractors, horse drawn vehicles, etc. through the town, and hold a traction engine show - I've taken part in that event a few times myself. I actually lived a few miles outside Aberystwyth, just up the coast from Cardigan. Unfortunately, the beauty and history of the area has meant an influx of people wanting to retire to Wales, or buying up cottages for holiday homes at prices the locals can't afford, so when my husband and I married some years ago we were obliged to move from my beloved Wales to England. It's my dream to return to live in the country I love one day though, and in the meantime I make frequent trips back to stay with my family and get my 'fix' of Welsh air
